Oru Kayak brought their newly redesigned Bay ST kayak to Outdoor Retailer 2017. The Bay ST is truly a one-of-a-kind kayak. If you’re not familiar with Oru kayaks, they are built from polypropylene plastic, and fold into a suitcase style box. Assembly only takes a few minutes and when the kayak is broken down, it fits perfectly in a car or a small apartment.
For 2017, Oru completely updated the Bay ST making it easier to assemble and more comfortable to paddle. So you can get on the water quickly and stay longer. At 12-foot long, it tracks pretty well and at 25-inches wide it is plenty stable, even for beginners. It weighs only 26-pounds so anyone can pick it up and get on the water.
