2015 Drysuit Innovation

2015 brings changes to how we wear our onesies. Kokatat’s new Idol detaches at the waist, making it a drysuit, drytop and river pants all in one. “We’ve been working on this concept for years,” says Kokatat’s Matt Porter—this year, new zipper technology is making the design possible.

Bomber Gear’s new Palguin drysuit introduces NeoShell to watersports for the first time. The fabric feels noticeably lighter and softer than other drysuit materials, which Bomber Gear says sets a new standard for breathability and durability. Its entry zipper—up one leg and down the other—doubles as a unisex relief zip.
