Rapid Media Named Official Partner Of Paddlesports Retailer

Paddlesports Retailer, the only show for paddlers by paddlers, has secured Rapid Media as the official media partner. Endorsed by the Paddlesports Industry Coalition as its official tradeshow, Paddlesports Retailer provides the premier commercial and cultural experience for exhibitors, retailers, media and industry advocates alike. The inaugural show will be held August 29-September 1, 2017 in Madison Wisconsin.

Paddlesports Retailer 2017 will be held August 29-September 1 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin.

 

Rapid Media is producing a special Paddlesports Retailer edition of Paddling Business magazine, “Inside Paddling Business retailers will find 217 of the hottest new kayaking, whitewater, SUP, canoeing and fishing products for next year. They’ll discover the latest trends like: Canoeing is booming, really! How kayak fishing is driving sales… Plus 16 industry leaders speak about saving SUP, beating Amazon, brand consolidation and the future of sea kayaking,” said Rapid Media Founder and Publisher, Scott MacGregor. The magazine will also include show specific resources and guides including booth numbers, show schedule and floor plan.        

 

Paddling Business magazine 2017

Paddling Business magazine will be available August 29 in print at Paddlesports Retailer and for free digitally in the Paddling Magazine app.

 

In addition to Paddling Business magazine, Rapid Media TV will cover the show and on-water demo, recording live interviews with designers and athletes, and showcasing new products for 2018. Kayak Angler editor Ric Burnley will be onsite, pushing kayak fishing news to kayakanglermag.com as well as social media, and a special Paddlesports Retailer daily Kayak Angler This Week newsletter.

“This is where we’ll get a first look at the boats, boards and gear we are going to field test later, but it’s even more exciting when we get to share it with our audience in real-time. Let’s face it, this is the one show that we’d all be dying to get into if we weren’t already building the booths. What paddler wouldn’t?” said MacGregor.

Rapid Media will also be partnering with the Paddlesports Safety Meeting with the U.S. Coast Guard, which will be held at Paddlesports Retailer in Madison, WI on Friday, September 1 at 7:15 am. The topics will include U.S. Coast Guard paddlesports safety initiatives, manufacturing standards update and user pay, user benefit—a discussion on registration fees.
