Here it is. 2023 is going to be “your” year paddlers. The year you plan that backcountry camping trip, nail your roll, or tackle the personal first descent you’ve been working toward. 2023 is going to be the year to enjoy paddling to your fullest. It’s January though, and we all know putting on those cold layers is the hardest part. So we have for you some 2023 paddler motivation thanks to filmmaker Seth Ezekiel West.
To kick the year off, West put together a highlight reel, set to a speech from actor Denzel Washington titled “Fall Forward,” and needless to say it’s got everyone here at the office fired up. So much so, we’re pulling on the drysuits and strapping down the boats right now. Here’s to your best year of paddling yet.
