Queen of the Green

Sage Donnelly became Queen of the Green in her first-ever Green Race win. After a smooth and fast race lap, Sage managed to knock Adriene Levknecht off the top spot—breaking Adriene’s impressive 12 year reign as female winner. View the full results here.

King of the Green

Although he was unable to reach his sub-four-minute goal, Dane Jackson still snagged first place in the men’s division (for both short and longboat categories) with a final time of four minutes and twelve seconds. View the full results here.

Junior Champ

With a time that was worthy of a senior’s title, young buck Kaelin Friedenson claimed the winning title in the Junior division. His race lap time of four minutes and twenty-seven seconds, meant he was placed as sixth overall. View the full results here.

An Injured Paddler Was Evacuated

The day before race day, the river community came together to assist with the evacuation of a paddler who suffered a hip injury just downstream of the course.

A River-Boarder Tried His Hand At Gorilla Rapid

Try and watch this video without cringing. After the races, daring paddler Aaron Bridges descended the hardest rapid on the Green River racecourse on his river board. We’re pretty sure there was a front flip in there too. Perhaps not the smartest of moves, we’re happy he came out unscathed.
