Greenville, SC (May 3, 2018) – On the heels of the much-anticipated Phantom kayak launch Dagger announces its plans to celebrate its 30th anniversary. In honor of the milestone, Dagger will be releasing a new limited-edition colorway, Red Dawn. Models available in Red Dawn will also showcase Dagger’s premium 30th Anniversary graphic. Along with the custom visuals featured on these models, consumers will also receive a Dagger Love Pack with each purchase. The Love Pack consists of commemorative branded swag for Dagger enthusiasts, including a water bottle, keychain, frisbee and branded sticker pack, and a co-branded Gerber Dagger River Shorty knife.

As part of the 30th anniversary, Dagger announces ‘Maker’s Choice.’ Using the RPM and the RPM MAX as a canvas, Dagger’s specialized Makers (each with 25+ years of employment with the company) created custom kayaks to be auctioned off during the 2018 season. All proceeds from these one of a kind kayaks will be donated to First Descents (a leader in adventure-based healing for young adults impacted by cancer) and the Shannon Christy Memorial Fund (former Dagger employee and paddler whose memorial encourages female participation in paddlesports).
