Team Dagger Kayaks is proud to announce its 2016 roster of world-class kayakers. This year, outstanding athletes, adventurers, entrepreneurs and filmmakers make up the larger, more diversified team.
“Team Dagger’s 2016 roster is made up of some of the best paddlers in the world. Our athletes continue to inspire people to get into paddling through their media, instruction and competition,” said Chris Gragtmans, Team Dagger manager. “It’s humbling to work with such talented kayakers who all bring something unique to the table and who care so deeply about the world around them.”
World-renowned paddlers come to Dagger Kayaks
Each athlete is committed to their larger community as well as their personal goals to defy world records or explore uncharted waters. Dagger athletes hold a shared passion for the sport as well as a commitment to inspire generations of kayakers to come.
Leading female whitewater kayaker Adriene Levknecht dominates in the water and saves lives as a paramedic. Explorer Ben Brown holds several first descents and, despite breaking his back in 2007, is a true grit charger. Filmmakers Todd and Brendan Wells are touring the country premiering their full-length film, For the Love.
Team Dagger athletes will compete in freestyle and creek race circuits at the GoPro Games, Dominion RiverRock, Gauley Fest, and the Green Race.
