Hurricane showed us the new Santee 120 Sport at Outdoor Demo Day. The 12-foot long, 28-inch wide kayak has a hard-chined hull, a large cockpit for easy entry and exit and a 10-inch hinge hatch. The kayak is extremely stable and also features grab handles, bow and stern bungees and a security bar behind the seat.
The new kayak features a framed seat from Native Watercraft. Hurricane’s president Steve Jordan says the new seat makes the boat extremely comfortable and lightweight. The seat can also be removed to make it lighter when loading on the car and can even be used as a camp chair.
