We are currently recruiting for a bookkeeper, finance manager and/or CFO. What does this mean? We’re a small growing team of 10 always wearing and sharing many hats. At the very least we need a crackerjack with numbers and details to roll in and take over as our bookkeeper managing all bookkeeping duties.
Responsibilities include accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. In addition, the bookkeeper files monthly and quarterly reports, HST and WSIB remittances and source deductions and health benefits claims. The right candidate will know the skills, knowledge and experience he or she will need to excel at all this.
In addition to being our bookkeeper, we’re hoping to find someone who will also regularly pull and analyze financial reports to help with business planning, funding proposals, final reports and special projects all while looking for better ways to manage expenses and grow revenues. This is the finance manager or CFO part of the job title.
