Adventure Kayak learned about four great new kayaks from Boreal Design and Riot Kayaks.
Kayak Distribution’s Mark Hall spoke about the last of the Storm Series, including a 17-foot model that he says will be the guide’s preferred boat. It has a great deal of stability and turns well. This series comes in a 17’, 16’ and 15’.
The Greenland EXP is a 17-foot thermoform kayak that weights 22 kilograms. With this design, Boreal “is going back to the pure origins of kayaking.”
A new 12-foot sit-on-top thermoform kayak from Riot Kayaks will have a special feature where two black pads at either end of the kayak can be removed in order to insert a variety of accessories including a drone dock or a fish locker.
Riot Kayaks will also soon have a five-foot kid’s boat with a pedal wheel option.
