Dagger has announced that will continue its sponsorship of numerous whitewater competitions, multi-sport events and women’s and cause-specific initiatives in 2017.
Evan Lyendecker, marketing director for Dagger was pleased to announce these sponsorships and how they span paddlers of all skill levels. “Dagger is committed to every type of paddler, from motivated beginners learning basic techniques to the world’s best kayakers searching for the cleanest lines through class V rapids.”
Dagger is not only supporting paddlers of different skill levels, but also a variety of initiatives. “We are proud to continue our support of women kayaking programs and inspirational causes and events that celebrate paddling and support the river community at large,” Lyendecker said.
Also in 2017, Dagger will sponsor multiple whitewater races as well as multi-sport competitions. First Descents, a non-profit dedicated to helping young adults battling cancer discover their true potential through the outdoors and kayaking is one program that Dagger will sponsor.
On top of First Descents and the other races, Dagger remains dedicated to sponsoring Girls at Play and Women in Charge, two organizations dedicated to getting female paddlers on the water.
