Ladies, Grab Your (Kayak) Skirts!

The Ontario Sea Kayak Centre (OSKC) is proud to announce its fifth annual Women on the Water Festival. In partnership with Wild Women Expeditions, the event offers skill sessions taught by some of Canada’s most decorated and experienced female paddling instructors. Further your paddleboarding, canoe, or kayaking skills, or experiment with a whole new paddling discipline. From SUP yoga, to kayak edging and bracing, to navigation and weather forecasting in the wild, there are learning and development opportunities for paddlers of every interest and skill level.

The Women on the Water Festival will be held from June 8-10th at Camp Tapawingo in Parry Sound, Ontario. Registration costs include bunkie accommodation at the camp, meals and snacks from Friday to Sunday, two days of instructor-led courses in canoe, kayak or SUP, as well as all necessary equipment and safety gear.

About the Ontario Sea Kayak Centre (OSKC)

The Ontario Sea Kayak Centre (OSKC) is a Canadian Sea Kayaking school that has instructors, trips and courses built for all skill levels. James Roberts and Dympna Hayes, partners and co-owners of OSKC, started the company 10 years ago while training on Lake Superior. In addition to running North America’s largest woman only paddling event, they are also known for running Paddle Canada courses, kayak rolling and rescue pool courses, kayaking trips, and their spring kayaking tune-up event, Paddlepalooza.
