Enjoy the beauty of the untouched wilderness of Quetico Provincial Park. Fly by De Havilland Beaver floatplane to a water landing access point bordering the park and paddle and portage 70 miles across the best of Quetico’s wild and remote drinking-water-pure lakes.
The fishing and wildlife sighting opportunities are spectacular on this route and there are many side lakes and streams you may decide to paddle and explore along the way.
What’s Included
The trip includes trip planning and complete Elite Outfitting. Custom packed food and camping gear, kevlar canoes and gear, Quetico Provincial Park permit fees, mapping and routing, main base bunkhouse accommodations, float plane flight and ground shuttles in the Atikokan area.
About the Guides
The Canoe Canada staff will custom plan your wilderness paddling vacation. They have over 35 years experience and insight into one of Canada’s most wild, majestic spaces. They have been Quetico’s outfitting experts since 1974. When you arrive in Atikokan, they will do a comprehensive map routing session, a full safety briefing on current park conditions and review the use of your gear and food outfitting. For a more enhanced paddling experience, guided trips are also available.

Most travellers arrive by road. Driving time is approximately 2.5 hours from Thunder Bay. If travelling by air, there are flights to Thunder Bay from many cities. Use either a rental car or Caribou Coach Bus for the 120 mile drive west to Atikokan. |
