MOSCOW, IDAHO — Northwest River Supplies (NRS), a worldwide leader in paddlesports equipment and apparel, is introducing a new generation of dry wear developed in partnership with GORE-TEX and built with the GORE-TEX Pro line of materials.
“We built this line from the ground up—based on paddlers’ needs and requirements, and it beats all expectations,” says Danny Mongno, NRS Product Manager. “Our athlete team and everyone from 14-year-olds to 75-year-old ambassadors weighed in on different aspects of the new line to make it the best in class. We’re thrilled to introduce our new line to the paddling community.”
GORE-TEX® Pro is the ultimate technical material for dry wear, unbeatable for comfort, dryness, breathability and longevity. The new NRS dry wear line is built with the Most Rugged category of GORE-TEX® Pro fabrics for maximum durability and features 100 percent recycled nylon face fabrics. The NRS GORE-TEX® Pro line will consist of five new products in all gender sizes and styles.
“We didn’t just make this GORE-TEX,” says Mongno, adding that the new line is just one more way NRS, the 50-year-old and 100 percent employee owned company, is doubling down on their tradition of service to their customers and community. “We built it to the standards of the world’s most demanding paddlers, so we can be sure it will serve the needs of all of our customers.”
NRS athletes have been involved in the development and testing of the new NRS GORE-TEX® Pro line.
“I love the freedom this new line gives us for big adventure days and competitions,” says NRS athlete Emily Jackson. “If each chance to be on the water offers a tiny taste of transcendence, why would you want anything to get in the way? This new line keeps me warm, dry and gives me that freedom I’m looking for.”
Fellow NRS athlete Nick Troutman agreed, “I’m psyched on the new line. I’ve been paddling in the Axiom this winter and it feels like a second skin. It has all of the details I’ve been looking for in a dry suit and it feels even better to have been a part of bringing this product to life.”
The NRS GORE-TEX® Pro line includes:
Axiom
The Axiom delivers best-in-class waterproof-breathable protection in a classic front-zip design. NRS asked the planet’s best paddlers what would make the ultimate dry suit, and then made it from scratch—each cut, cuff, seam and seal crafted for maximum performance.
Jakl
Designed with elite expedition paddlers in mind, the back-zip Jakl is the toughest and most durable high-performance dry suit ever made. It’s gear that’ll stand up to a lifetime of playing hard.
Rev Dry Top
Every detail of the cut and construction maximizes comfort and minimizes water entry. Extended neoprene cuffs shield the gaskets, and all-new patterning improves flexibility while reducing friction and drag.

Navigator
Built for long days offshore and designed with input from pro sea kayak instructors and athletes, the Navigator is the dream touring suit—comfortable, adjustable and adaptable to changing conditions.
