1. Personal Data We Collect or Process
(a) The Services capture some information about you automatically utilizing background local storage and session storage technologies (“Cookies”). Pixel Tags or Clear GIFs, also known as Web Beacons or Web Bugs, are transparent graphical images placed on a website. We use these items on our Websites to permit us, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related statistics regarding use of our Services (for example, recording the popularity of certain content and verifying system and server integrity).
We operate social media pages on third party networks and have social media icons on our Services. When you visit or link to our social media pages, data is processed both by us and the applicable social media provider. Social media providers are unaffiliated with us, and we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of social media providers. Social media providers have their own terms of use and privacy policies, and we encourage you to review those policies whenever you visit their websites or interact with their platforms.
We use third parties, including Google Ad Manager, Google AdSense and Hashtag, to help us tailor content on our Services to users or to serve ads or messages on our behalf. Such third parties may employ Cookies and web beacons to measure advertising or messaging effectiveness (such as which web pages are visited, which messages are responded to, or what products are purchased and in what amount). Some of our advertisements are those of our corporate customers and not based on our Websites’ users’ online browsing behavior unless you opt-in to customized advertising when you sign up on our Websites, in which case the advertisements may be based on your online browsing behavior.

When you click on a link that is provided by a third party or available in an advertisement, data is processed both by us and the linked site. Linked sites are unaffiliated with us, and we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of the operators of such linked sites.
When using your mobile device to visit, access or use the Service, then additional categories of information that we collect may include:
- Your name associated with your mobile device
- Your telephone number associated with your mobile device
- Your geolocation
- Your mobile device ID information
(b) We (or our service providers) also collect information that you provide to us or to our service providers voluntarily, such as in the following situations:

We may ask for your name, email address, physical address, phone number, username, password, company and employment information, and, if you are subscribing to a publication, payment card information. You may also upload a profile picture.

We have a Careers page on our rapidmedia.com Website. If you apply for a job with us, we will collect the information you provider to us, for example in a resume and cover letter.
We utilize third-party providers to host our online store, process your payments and manage subscriptions. To the extent you are redirected to those providers’ user interfaces, information may be provided directly to such providers via our Services, and accordingly we may receive information about you from those providers in connection with your transactions on our Services.
(c) We do not knowingly collect information from users of our Services under the age of 18 and/or their internet usage, and such persons are not authorized to use the Services. If we obtain actual knowledge that a user is under 18, we will take steps to remove that user’s personal information from our databases. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and that you are of legal age to enter into legal agreements.
2. How We Use the Data

Rapid Media shares information with third parties that perform services on our behalf, including without limitation our website and app hosting providers, e-commerce site provider, advertising partners, payment processors, subscription managers, publishers, email and mail delivery service providers and professional advisors. Some of our third-party providers are located in the United States.
Rapid Media may share information with its U.S. parent company and affiliates.
By providing information to us, you consent to the transfer of your personal information outside your jurisdiction of residence, including the United States.
We have relationships with third parties, including those of our advertisers and contest sponsors and we may provide them some personal information such as your name and email so that they may contact you about products or promotions you may be interested in.
When you click on a link that is provided by a third party or available in an advertisement, your data may be shared with the linked site, and Rapid Media may receive a commission in connection with your navigation to and activity on such linked sites.

4. Grounds for Using Your Personal Data
We rely on the following legal grounds to process your personal information:
Consent. Some uses of your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy are subject to your consent, such as marketing email communications.

We do not store payment card information; rather we utilize a third-party payment processor and store only an electronic receipt that sets forth confirming payment details, such as purchase date, the expiration date of the payment card and the payment ID, but not complete payment card information.
We take reasonable administrative, physical and technical precautions to protect your personal data and communications between us. This includes, when required or as we deem appropriate and feasible under the circumstances, encryption and written commitments from third parties that may have access to your data that they will protect the data with appropriate safeguards.

While we do not specifically market the Services to those who reside in Europe, we will provide accommodations for the exercise of your rights provided under data protection laws of the European Union, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction that has adopted laws substantially similar to the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). These websites may be operated by companies unaffiliated with us, and we are not responsible for the content, products, services or privacy practices of those websites. 8. Privacy Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and without prior notice to you to reflect changes in our information practices, and any such amendments shall apply to information already collected and to be collected. Your continued use of the Services after any changes to our Privacy Policy indicates your agreement with the terms of the revised Privacy Policy. Please review this Privacy Policy periodically and especially before you provide personal data to us. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you here, by email or by means of a notice on our home page.
