The 6th Annual Movember Whitewater Classic race is scheduled for Nov. 18, 2017.
The race begins at the OWL rafting put-in on the Ottawa River with a Le Mons mass start at 11:00 a.m. The course is approximately 8km long, ending at the Wilderness Tours takeout. The first team to sip hot chocolate at the take-out will be the winners.

Participants must race with a moustache and a partner. A selection of stick-on cookie dusters will be provided for those that cannot grow their own mo’.
“There might be snow, but your mo’ will keep you warm!” says organizer Matt Hamilton.
There is a $20 entry fee to cover Whitewater Ontario insurance and a donation on behalf of the winning team’s Movember.com page. There are no restrictions on the type of boat you can paddle: solo or tandem kayaks, canoes and SUP paddlers are all welcome.
Last year, the event raised $4,100 to benefit the Movember Foundation and $400 for Whitewater Ontario.
