Epic Kayaks debuted two new kayaks at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2016.
The V5 is a beginner-friendly rotomolded design, perfect for introducing new surf ski enthusiasts to this style of paddling. It’s 14 feet long and features a modern and efficient, computer designed hull. A lower number on the boat indicates that it is easier to paddle, says rep Kenny Howell. The V5 is lighter than a typical rotomolded kayak and super easy to carry down to the water. It offers great comfort and ergonomics for easy all-day paddling.

Meanwhile, the V8 Pro is also new for 2016 and directed at the more experienced surf ski enthusiast. It utilizes the same efficient hull design ideals. We took the V8 Pro out for a rip on Outdoor Retailer Demo Day at Pineview Reservoir and found it to be super speedy.
