The Wilderness Education Association recently awarded Guy Savoie and Voyageur Wilderness Programme (VWP) with the prestigious 2015 Paul Petzoldt Award in Outdoor Education at their conference, February 10, 2015.
Throughout the past 55 years, VWP’s mission continues to be ecological and environmental education through a wilderness experience. They’ve helped give people an appreciation and understanding of wilderness which influences their connection to their communities and the world.
“We’re pleased to be Quetico’s Premier Eco-Adventure Outfitter and to facilitate a wilderness experience for all to enjoy,” said VWP in a press release. “We look forward to a continued collaboration with you to provide this life-changing experience to participants!”
