Patagonia is a region of Chile which is renowned for its hostile weather and remote mountains. Three kayakers decided to take on the adventure of a lifetime, paddling 800 km over 33 days. The team paddled down the west coast of Patagonia, exploring the fjords and discovering the glaciers hardly ever seen by others. En route, they contended with serious weather, icebergs in currents, and navigating through a maze of fjords, all in one of the world’s truly remote places. This short film from Erin Bastian documents their expedition.
