From the filmmakers: “Rotor Collective headed down to The Pit River in California for a very rare two weekend release that takes place every October. A non-profit organization named American Whitewater works extremely hard to coordinate this fun event for paddlers with the local power companies, and for that we are very grateful! We broke our DJI S800 multi rotor down into two backpacks, and hiked an hour down an old deer trail to get to the base of the falls. There we rebuilt the rig and did 6 flights over both the massive fall and the slide. Everyone was sending it that day, and here are just a few of the amazing shots that came back from the shoot.
