Following the success of the Prana, the second collaboration between Danish designer Jesper Kromann-Andersen and Current Designs has created the Sisu. Slightly wider and shorter than its predecessor the Prana, the Sisu is also more nimble and maneuverable.
Thanks to a playful design, the Sisu will excel in rock gardens, tide races, wave faces and touring. While it boasts a performance-oriented design, the Sisu is also user friendly, and ideal for aspiring paddlers looking for an exciting ride and wanting to rapidly develop skills and elevate performance.

Boasting a Swede form design, the Sisu is widest behind the cockpit, and has a clean, long and slender entry. Thanks to its Swede form, paddlers can expect good touring speeds and maneuverability. The Sisu also has hard chines—the well-defined edge where the hull bottom meets the sides. This increases the initial stability of the boat. Hard chines give defined edging angles and assist in holding an edge.
The shallow-V hull shape improves the Sisu’s tracking, and will provide a lively feel while delivering comfortable stability.
Available in fiberglass (52 pounds and $3,499) and Kevlar composite constructions (48 pounds at $3,899).
