5 Awesome Accessories We Saw At Outdoor Retailer

Stohlquist New Escape and Graded Sizing

New this year is Stohlquist’s Youth Large/ Adult Extra Small size, ideal for paddlers in the 75 to 125-pound range, like smaller women and tweens. This is part of Stohlquist’s quest to make better fitting PFDs for all body sizes. In 2015 they introduced their graded sizing system, which offers differently sized flotation panels depending on the size of the PFD. Pictured is the sporty Escape, available for both men and women and in graded sizing.

Level Six’s Breakwater Bib

Level Six’s new bibbed dry pant features their 2.5-ply eXhaust fabric. Featuring neoprene suspenders, the Breakwater’s low profile promises to be ultra comfy underneath a PFD. Retails for $420.

Delorme’s Weather Forcasting

Weather forecasting has come to the inReach Explorer SE, Delorme’s two-way texting and emergency messenger. The all-new function offers all the forecasted details kayakers will need to plan their trip on the go, including: precipitation, wind, waves, currents and visibility. With this new feature kayakers on long trips may never be caught out by the weather again.
