Video: The Muir Project

New film NOATAK: Return To The Arctic by The Muir Project follows two adventurers in their seventies as they explore Alaska’s Noatak River, 35 years after their first visit.

Jim Slinger and Andrew “Tip” Taylor met on the Yukon River in 1975 and have since done 30 trips to the north together, each expedition lasting three weeks or more.

In this short film we experience the beauty of return for the two men as well as reflections on the spiritual importance wide open and rugged spaces like this carry for them.
