The Great Canadian Kayak Challenge and Festival is the largest running festival in the city of Timmins, Ontario. What started out as a celebration of the Mattagami River has grown into three days of racing, fireworks, evenings of live music and of course kayak racing. With multiple skill levels and competition entries there are events for beginners to seasoned paddlers.
